Q. Those plastic dividers to the warehouse are awful! Can we please get the doors back instead?
A. We're working on this issue.
Q. Can we get more copies of the N.Y.
Times? It seems to sell out every day. Also, can we get the Wall
Street Journal
on Fridays? Its Friday crossword puzzle is really great.
A. We are already receiving more copies of the
Times and will adjust the supply further, if necessary. We have
not had any other requests for the Wall Street
Journal
.
Q. Can the HWFC be a cell phone-free zone?
A. While many people find cell phones repulsive, many do find them to be necessary tools for communication. We prefer to practice tolerance.
Q. Post some recipes in the wheat/grain bulk section. I don't know what to do with all those grains.
A. Our HABA department has a number of good cookbooks. You could also check your local library or the Internet.
Q. It's really hard to pour the shoyu from its new location - taller bottles don't work. Also, where's the wheat-free? And where's the organic shoyu?
A. The refrigerated shoyu can be pulled out a little to accommodate taller bottles. Wheat-free shoyu is known as tamari, and our organic tamari is on a shelf with the vinegars.
Q. Please restock Tea Tree Triple
Treat
shampoo in bulk. Thanks.
A. Our distributor went out of business.
Q. Can we start carrying organic chocolate chips? Please!!
A. OK. We can do that.
Q. It might be a good idea to get extra sandalwood incense, since its a very popular scent.
A. We'll keep up with demand. You may want to know that its popularity has contributed to its endangered status.
Q. Consider selling canvas bags with an HWFC silkscreened logo to promote reduce/reuse/recycle awareness.
A. We have them available for sale. Actually, they are made from recycled soda bottles (ecospun). You can find them near register 4.
Q. It would be great to have raw peanuts available in bulk. Home roasted is easy, and tons better than pre-roasted!
A. They have been out of stock recently.
