HWFC Board of Directors met on Tuesday, March 2.

| Marketing |
| The Marketing and
Merchandising Coordinator noted that she's looking at ways to encourage
a sense of community among members. She planned to discuss these at the
March membership meeting. She's also considering an offer by a group to
make a series of videos promoting the Co-op. |
| Board Business |
John Godrey resigned as
Board President. Karen Roth will become Acting President until the end
of the term in April. The Board members divided up the remaining tasks
to be completed by this officer.

| Board Candidate Recruitment |
There are now five Board
vacancies to be filled with the April election. Efforts to recruit
candidates have been ongoing. The possibility of current Board members
tabling to discuss Board service was discussed.

April Membership Meeting
|
| Plans were made for the
upcoming meeting. |
| Facilities |
| A staff representative will
now attend meetings of the Facilities committee. |
| Executive Session |
| The Board met in executive
session at the end of the meeting. |
| Minutes |
| Minutes of all meetings are
available at the Co-op. Minutes of the most recent meeting are posted
on the bulletin board. They are also available on the Co-op's website,
as password protected files. See instructions on the Board Meetings page |
| Upcoming Meetings |
Currently, Board meetings
are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:45 pm in the Co-op's
Community Room. Dates change on occasion, so anyone planning to attend
a meeting should confirm date, time, and location.
