New on the Shelf

There’s a new line of pizzas on our freezer shelves. From the makers of Richard Bourdon/Berkshire Mountain Bread comes Berkshire Mountain Bakery pizzas, in the following varieties: Honey BBQ Caramelized Onion & Smoked Gouda, Roasted Pepper & Goat Cheese, Garlic & Three Cheese, Pesto & Goat Cheese, and Sun-dried Tomato & Fresh Mozzarella.

New in yogurt is Six Grains Stirred Yogurt by Liberté. Sweetened only with fruit juice, it comes in peach and raspberry. In juices we’re carrying Loóza nectars (black currant and apricot; both contain sugar) and Pomegranate Juice Blends by Früzzo (in the cooler case by the registers). From the Frontera line comes Stone Ground Tortilla Chips in Chipotle with Lime, Yellow Corn, Blue Corn, and Lime with Sea Salt. Garden of Eatin’ now offers Pitas Chips in a variety of flavors. Westsoy now offers Unsweetened Almond Soymilk. It’s organic, but it isn’t made with actual almonds — it’s just “naturally flavored.”

New in pasta sauces is Middle Earth OrganicsItaly’s premier organic tomato sauce.” Noticeable for the wellknown works of art displayed on its jars, the sauce comes in a variety of recipes (perhaps the most unique being Organic Tomato & Eggplant Sauce).

In household items we’re carrying Baby Laundry Soap by Earth Friendly Products. BioBag (“100% biodegradable, 100% compostable”) offers tall kitchen bags and dog waste bags.

Produce

An exciting item in the Produce section is packaged porcini mushrooms (Funghi Porcini Secchi), a product of Italy.
