The
HWFC Board of Directors met on Tuesday, December 1.
|
Record Keeping
|
| An ad-hoc committee will be
formed to address record keeping. This group will develop a web-based
searchable format for Co-op records such as meeting minutes and written
policies. |
| Consulting |
| The Board agreed to
contract for services with CDS Consulting. This organization provides
services to co-ops and had given a presentation at the last Board
meeting. |
| Design for New Store |
| The Facilities committee is
developing a Request for Proposals to solicit bids from architects and
building designers for a plan for the new store. |
| Discount Request |
The Member Coordinator
forwarded a member's request that the discount for those who work
bi-weekly be revised.
Although the Board has previously indicated that all discounts will
remain as is until the move to the new store, it was agreed to forward
this request to the Membership committee for review. |
| Evaluation |
The Board will give the
Collective Management Team a preliminary evaluation in early December.
The CMT will have 20 days to respond.

| Brochure |
| A membership brochure will
be developed. |
Satellite Store
|
| There had been discussion
of the Coop opening a satellite store as part of a City of Albany
development project. In response to a letter on this, the Board will
respond that it is not possible to pursue this project at this time. |
| January Meeting |
| Preparations were made for
the January membership meeting. |
| Executive Session |
| The Board met in executive
session at the end of the meeting. |
| Minutes |
| Minutes of all meetings are
available at the Co-op. Minutes of the most recent meeting are posted
on the bulletin board. They are also available on the Co-op's website,
as password protected files. See instructions on the Board Meetings page |
| Upcoming Meetings |
Currently, Board meetings
are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:45 pm in the Co-op's
Community Room. However, dates change on occasion so anyone planning to
attend a meeting should confirm date, time, and location.
