Q. Books: The Medical
Mafia, Not on the Label,
Dying for a Hamburger — Get these books!
Q. Two fantastic books the
Coop should carry: Natural
Cures They Don’t Want You to Know About, Kevin Troudeau; and Dead
Dogs Don’t
Lie, Dr. Wallace.
A. We’ll look into carrying
the above titles.
Q. Will the deli please
consider stopping the use of
canola? This highly suspect oil verges on indigestable and challenges
our definition
of healthy food.
A. Do you have any
non-hydrogenated alternative
oils for baking? Olive oil is too strongly flavored for baking.
Q. Kudos to those who moved
the bulk aisle pamphlets to
a shelf where they’re easier to see and access.
A. We can thank Leigh for
this
improvement. We’re glad you offer kudos.
Q. New York Naturally, the “Natural Pages for New York” is a
free magazine.
We should advertise in it.
A. Their distribution only
covers the five
boroughs of NYC up through Dutchess and Ulster County.
Their distribution does not even get as far north as Greene or Columbia County, so we are disinclined to
advertise
with them because very few of our likely shoppers will see it.
Q. We’re a whole foods
store — Please make whole wheat
pizza more often than the white.
A. OK, we will rotate it
because we have
people who like both.
Q. I think it would be
great if the deli made Nori
rolls.
A. OK, we’ll consider it.
Q. Why can’t the deli make
egg and/ or tuna salad
sandwiches on occasion?
A. We will make egg salad
sandwiches. Our
deli does not make meat sandwiches.
Q. There is partially
hydrogenated oil in the Misty
Knoll Pot Pies. I thought we didn’t sell stuff with that junk in it.
A. Thank for pointing this
out. We will
discontinue it.
Q. Please get a peanut
butter making machine. What you
have now is so unsanitary.
A. We are considering a
machine for our upcoming reset.
