Various items can now be found in Bulk section including Israeli Couscous — slightly larger than your average couscous, Dark Chocolate Raisins (a simple snack with antioxidants), and Applewood Smoked Dulse from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables — a raw food that can be used as a snack or ingredient to your favorite recipe for a good source of vegetable protien. Raw Hempseed is also available in the refrigerator section of Bulk.

Hop on over to the HaBA department and you will find several new products including the fair-trade, eco-conscious Alaffia sustainable skin care, all-natural haircare products and lotions, shampoos and conditioners available in varieties such as Vanilla Spice and Neem and Shea Butter, as well as the Desert Essence Organics Hair Care line — organic shampoos and conditioners in Lemon Tea Tree or Italian Red Grape.

Move over to herbal supplements and you’ll see two products by NewChapter are now available — Blood Pressure take care, to help maintain healthy blood pressure and HDL levels, and Tranquilnite plus, a sleep aid. Another recent addition, offering an alternative to this sleep aid, is Irwin Naturals Power to Sleep PM. The two products contain similar ingredients, one main difference is that the Irwin Naturals brand contains soy. HaBA now carries Irwin Naturals Stress- Defy Balanced & Relaxed and Complete Cardio Heart & Cholesterol Health as well.

For those looking for a natural approach to ease joint stiffness and inflammation, FlexNow Joint formula, made with a Shea Nut botanical complex can be found nearby. Planetary Herbals introduces Triphala, an Ayurvedic purifier that naturally cleanses the body with a blend of three Indian herbal fruits.
