member-worker
shifts that improve traffic flow (like baggers and check-out) are
filled before
people can sign up for shifts that slow traffic (like grocery
shelf-stocking).

Why
do we promote
GMOs? Several of the featured sale products in the last few months have
contained nonorganic corn, with nothing on the label stating it is not
GMO
(e.g., Kashi cereal, Barbara’s Puffins cereal). Unfortunately these
days, GMOs
are so prevalent in our food supply that any non-organic corn or soy is
likely
to contain GM material unless specifically stated otherwise on the
label. We
can do better.

gave no
response. Barbara’s person says they try to source non-GMO when
possible. They
report corn is difficult to source without being certain that it is
non-GMO.

the deli have an
exhaust fan? I am very sensitive to certain smells.

Yes
we do have an
exhaust fan in the deli. We keep it on during work hours.

The
new garbage cans
in the bathrooms are not a good idea for public use since you have to
put your
hands on them to put anything in them — not very sanitary.
