Q.Why not sell energy
efficient (CFL) light bulbs?
A.We’ll try
again.
Q.I don’t think it’s right
to have member workers working in the Café sorting bags or
folding Coop
Scoops.
They often take up 4 seats and then paying customers have no
place to eat lunch and it is an uncomfortable situation. Please find
another
spot for them to work. Can the “CMT” [Collective Management Team]
discuss this?
A.We agree
that this is a problem. Space is at a premium here and we often have no
place
else to put
workers
for
certain tasks. We will ensure that the Café remains a workplace
of last resort.
Q.Please charge 5 cents for
plastic bags to encourage canvas bags for shopping.
A.We will
continue to encourage people to use canvas bags with our 5-cent
discount for
canvas bags. We will have more canvas bags available for sale in the
near future.
Q.Bulletin board should
have a section for: Musicians, Artists, and Craftsmen.
A.We will
designate a new section.
Q.Nancy, can we carry
smaller size Ezekiel sprouted tortillas in frozen section? If not, can
I order this
month and get sales discount?
A.We have a
smaller diameter tortilla available; however, it is not on sale this
month. We
will consider stocking it. In the meantime, you may want to pre-order.
Q.The Co-Op Rocks!
A.Thanks for
noticing.
Q.Can we sell the magnet
“peace” sign please?
A.No, we will
not get them again because the magnetic strips took the paint off a car.
Q.Coop Scoop new
layout for dept. listings is hard to use and omits Deli. Why?
A.We have
been calling the Deli “Food Service” since it first started. There’s
been no
recent change to the layout.
Q.Would it be possible to
set up a collection (similar to the one for batteries) for spent
compact fluorescent
light bulbs?
A.We’re
looking into it.
Q.Thanks for the compost
bucket in the Café!
A.You’re very
welcome. So far it’s been very successful.
