Q. I vote for 2 new garbage
cans in the
bathrooms. The existing ones are rusted and the flap is not hygienic.
There are
designs with a hole in the lid so you don’t have to touch the can. This
is especially
necessary because our bathrooms are public.
A. We will look into getting
some new
ones that also meet Agriculture and Market regulations.
Q. Can the Co-op sell beer?
Maybe
organic beers or locally made beers.
A. Besides getting over the
issues of
finding space and licensing, selling beer would need to be initiated by
a
member referendum. Would you like to start one?
Q. Could we look into
getting distilled
H2O in glass containers? Customers are concerned that distilled H2O
sucks the plastic
right into the H2O.
A. Customers can bring in
their own glass
containers to fill with our H2O filtered by reverse osmosis.
Q. Contamination by kids
standing in
carts! Kids standing in carts bring outside yuck into cart. Veggies sit
in
cart. Yuck.
A. It is very difficult for
us to
police this issue. We hope your suggestion will spur parents to keep
their
children in the proper seat.
Q. How does one qualify for
member appreciation
reward? Who determines which members deserve it?
A. All working members
qualify for the member
appreciation award. If you worked in 2006 from January till the end of
November, you should have received a coupon. If not, see Nate.
Q. How about increasing
member
discounts? 3 hours = 10%, 12 hours = 30%?
A. Our Board has visited
this issue and
has decided against restructuring the discounts at this time.
Q. Hello, I’m wondering why
my
questions/ concerns about the bicycle parking sign were not addressed.
Should I
look elsewhere for a response? Thanks.

musicians and artists…
Ex.: Musicians who want to meet other musicians and artists that want
space,
etc. Several folks think space for this would be very beneficial.

the person who handles our bulletin boards about this.
