Art in the Café

During the month of May nature photography by Erika Patenaude is on display in HWFC’s cafe. A native of Schuylerville, Ms. Patenaude now lives in Rhode Island, where she earned her MS in environmental science from the University of Rhode Island. She studied photography at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula (Mont.).

Ms. Patenaude has exhibited her works in various local venues as well as in juried shows in Rhode Island. These color scenes of flowers and landscapes — digital prints as well as prints from slide film — reflect not only her academic interest in the environment, but also an aesthetic one.
