Q. Deli needs to get baked
goods out earlier in the morning. I came for muffins and they are never
out.
A. We have two kinds of fresh muffins available at 7 am. They are often
too hot to put into the case. Please ask a deli worker and we will be
happy to get one for you.
Q. Did you ever consider bottling kombucha at the Co-op? It’s too
expensive and I would buy local if it existed.
A. Yes, we are currently looking at a Vermont supplier.
Q. Could you label the deli items “vegan?”
A. OK. We will include that in the names of our vegan items.
Q. The Bionaturare E.V. olive oil very diffult to open. Thanks.
A. Any products that you have a problem with may be returned for a full
refund.
Q. Emerald Cove makes packaged organic seaweeds. Would be nice to have
that option.
A. We’ll consider it.
Q. Would you please consider an organic salad bar-or at least
prepackaged vegan salads?
A. In the new store we will have a salad bar with local and organic
items. Currently we do offer tossed salads with local and organic
ingredients.
Q. Re: Bulk items (9/16/08) Please start carrying the grain “SALBA.”
(EDITOR’S NOTE: Salba is a variety of chia seeds.)
A. We’ll look into it.
Q. Kill your TV!
A. But…
Q. Please make peace with the “no spray” blueberry guy!
A. He didn’t want to do business with us because he wanted us to sell
only his blueberries.
Q. Why do we have tomatoes from Mexico this time of year?
A. There was a gap in our supply and Mexico was our only source for
organic Rome tomatoes.
Q. I think on the Bananas sign it should say “GO BANANAS” with a monkey.
A. OK, we’ll do it.
