Lemon Almond Cake

  • Organic Lemon Cake Mix
  • 1/2 Cup Butter – Melted
  • 3 Eggs (Local)
  • 2/3 Cup Lowfat Organic Milk (Local)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla or Lemon Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Slivered Raw Almonds
  • Powdered Sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix organic lemon cake mix with eggs, milk, vanilla and butter. Pour batter into buttered pan. Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds or grated lemon peel. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar immediately after removed from oven. Serve with dollop of yogurt or whipped cream. Good for breakfast, snack or dessert.
