Peach, Plum, and Ginger Chutney
This very light summer recipe is vegan and gluten free. It was created by our own Donna Quinn.
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 candy onion (local), diced
  • 2 tbsp. organic ginger
  • 3 cloves organic garlic, minced
  • chile pepper
  • curry powder
  • 3 plums, peeled and diced
  • 2 peaches, peeled and diced
  • 2 tbsp. organic cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
1. Heat oil until hot, add peppers, onions, ginger, garlic, chile and Madras curry powder, sauté 5 minutes.
2. Add remaining ingredients, simmer 10 minutes. Chill.
Keeps 2 weeks in fridge.
